The expected results of the project are the joint development of strategies, associated with five different transformation modules, as well as the execution of the respective pilot programs, to "unlock our potential for excellence in research and innovation, to accelerate the transformation in a European Multi-institutional Research and Innovation Center for Smart and Sustainable Regions". The project team is divided into 6 work packages (WP) with specific work focuses:

WP1 |Leader: Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (IPS), Portugal

The Project Coordinator's primary responsibilities are to oversee the implementation of all WPs and ensure that all terms and conditions set out in the EC Grant Agreement and in the Consortium Agreement are met.

WP2 |Leader: Fachhochschule St Pölten GMBH (STPUAS), Austria

Gather the results from the different ongoing projects, tasks and WPs to assess whether the approaches followed to find areas of convergence and to bring researchers, students, stakeholders and citizens/citizen associations on board are effective or need to be rethought. The assessment of opportunities, strengths and weaknesses will also guide the definition of priority areas for the E³UDRES².

WP3 |Leader: Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem (MATE), Hungary

This WP ensures the efficient, sustainable and agile implementation of RD&I collaboration and resource sharing using the simple tools of classical business strategy planning. Accordingly, the strategic planning process will identify the strengths and weaknesses of the collaborating organisations' RD&I infrastructure and identify opportunities and threats in the regulatory and technological environment.

WP4 |Leader: Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara (UPT), Romania

Assess the current state of the six partner institutions in terms of open practices, the strengths, weaknesses (gaps) and overall adequacy of OS/OI/OE (Open Science/Open Innovation/Open Education) tools, resources and training against the needs of the project and evaluate and validate options and draft a common strategy for OS/OI/OE.

WP5 |Leader: UC Limburg (UCLL), Belgium

Collect and co-create engagement models for researchers and citizens to engage, evaluate and inspire their perception and expectations for citizen science projects.

WP6 |Leader: Vidzemes Augstskola (ViA), Latvia

By managing human resources and R&I ecosystems, this WP will seek to understand the current position of all participants to identify, evaluate and validate strategic options following a comprehensive SWOT analysis in order to plan and set objectives in order to establish E³UDRES² alliance as a recognised brand as an open R&I platform on European and international levels.
